Below are the details of Maternity, Birth and Newborn Photographers that I have had the pleasure to either meet, work with or in some cases experience a photoshoot with. I only recommend them because I know that they will provide you with a lasting keepsake of your maternity, birth or newborn period - Kelly
I have fond memories of doing a Maternity Shoot at the beach with Belle. With the potential for an awkward experience (cool sunset, rising tide, tired toddler) she put me at ease immediately. .
Before that I had come across Belle as a fellow regular at World Breastfeeding Week celebrations in Perth.
She specialises in birth and motherhood sessions that capture the intricate bond between mother and child and honours the relationship that connects all family members.
CAT FANCOTE-capturing birth
I met Cat through the local babywearing community, plus she did an amazing photoshoot for one of my closest doula colleagues - Courtney Smith from Mother Nurture - Breastfeeding and Postnatal Doula Services.
Cat captured the most amazing photo of a newborn baby with it's placenta still attached, which I have used on my website with her permission (you can see it here).
She offers: Mother Blessings, Maternity, Birth Photography, Newborn Bonding, and Breastfeeding Sessions.
jessica newton-homegrown photography
Jessica had the courage to document my second birth at home. Despite living the other end of town to us, she made it to our precipitous birth with plenty of time to capture it in it's entirety. Yet I never even knew she was there (other than when she walked in the door).
Jessica offers a special service of videography as well as photography, which means she captures not only photos, but also short video clips.
She offers: Maternity, Birth and Family photography and videography.
sacha sutherland - moments by sacha
Sacha is amazing with the work she does with families with special needs or sick kids as well as her amazing costumes. I met her as part of my local school community.
